The Palermo airport is very small, the easiest way to reach the apartments from the airport is by taxi. Taxi’s cost around €50.
Alternatives to taxis include the Prestia & Comandé (€6) bus as well as getting a shared taxi (€12). Both bus and shared taxis are on the right exiting the airport. You will see first the shared taxis (they are white mini vans and the drivers hold a sign) and then the bus parking. The shared taxis have 8 seats and leave as soon as it's filled with passengers. The bus has a fixed time of departure, so depending on the time of your arrival you might have to wait a little longer.
Once you drop off your luggage at your apartment, you’ll likely never need a taxi again in Palermo, everything is walkable.
