  • Gym & Yoga
    • An active lifestyle, including gym workouts, yoga, Pilates, and other exercises, is becoming increasingly famous among Prague residents. Those wishing to join a fitness center or yoga studio will find a wide array of options, from traditional memberships to flexible drop-in class systems. Please do not hesitate to contact your Community Manager via WhatsApp should you require assistance.
    • Watersports: For those who enjoy being on or in the water, Prague offers several appealing options, from swimming pools to paddleboarding and kayaking on the Vltava River.
  • Pharmacies
    • In the Czech Republic, pharmacies are called 'lékárna' and are typically marked with a green cross. You'll often find staff who speak some English at these establishments.
    • In a Czech lékárna (pharmacy), you'll typically find two separate counters. The 'volný prodej' counter is for items available without a prescription. The other, 'výdej na předpis', is where pharmacists dispense prescription-only medications.
    • TIP: closest lékárna (pharmacy) is located 8mins walking from your accommodation: Lékárna AVE, address: Havlíčkova 5, 11000 Praha 1 (daily 8am-6pm, closed on weekends) - on weekend you will find a pharmacy open in shopping mall Palladium (daily 9am-9pm), Lékárna IPC, address: Nám. Republiky 1078/1, 110 00 Nové Město (inside of Palladium shopping mall, -2 floor)
    • TIP: In the Czech Republic, all medications, including what would be considered "over-the-counter" drugs in some other countries (like pain relievers, cold medicine, etc.), must be sold by a licensed pharmacist in a designated "lékárna" (pharmacy). You won't find them on regular supermarket shelves.
